Back Country for Everyone

Want to ski untracked back country powder but can’t stand all that tiresome uphill trudging? Up Ski might be just the thing for you, combining the danger of jumping from an airplane with the excitement of unpredictable Alpine winds. What more could the lazy adrenalin junky ask for?
Can this be a good idea? Let’s hope not—it looks fun as hell, and fun almost never is.

That looks like one heck of an avalanche balloon. With that thing hanging off your back, the rescuers ought to have no problem finding you after the wind pulls you over an unstable cornice. :)
But yes, it looks hella-fun.
First thing I thought was not only does it lift you up the slope, but also over the top and into outer space!
