A Pain in the Cash

When you go to buy your Colorado Pass this weekend, make sure you take your checkbook, debit card, or credit card, because they don’t accept cash.
It makes sense when you think about it, though. They could easily end up taking in over $20,000 per day just in cash sales alone. So for security purposes, I can see how it’s better to keep everything on paper.

I don´t think that would be possible in Austria or Germany, where I live. People are much more used to pay cash here. A frequent number of my friends don´t even own a credit card although they have good jobs. But I have to admit i am not sure how they handle the ammount of cash in some of the skiing hot spots in the alpes.
